Statistics/Data

Public Health and Medicine thrive on data and statistics.

Some of the data and statistics are confidential or proprietary or not sufficiently "clean" that they can be made publicly or widely available. However, the various units at MHSS that routinely gather, process, and report data, statistics, and information expect to make it available on here on the MHSS Web site.

NOTE: It is expected that data will be available at least as dBASE files, and, probably, as MS Excel (*.xls, Version 4 to accommodate users who may not have the most current software). All data files will be ZIPped to speed downloading. Any documents that are necessary to explain file names, field names, limitations to the data, etc., will be MS Word files (saved in Version 5 format), and will be included in the ZIP files.

Check back from time to time to see what data is available.
