Objective:

To Administer Health Professional and technical Support Services. There four division: Clinical support services; Pharmaceutical services; Drug Control Co-ordination; Windhoek Central Hospital. The functions include:

• Assess the need for health professional in government health institutions and co-ordinate recruitments.
• Provide specialist tertiary hospital services for diagnostic, medical and surgical treatment.
• Plan, organize and assess the pharmaceutical services in the country
• Plan, organize and assess the medical laboratory services in government institutions throughout the country.
• Plan, organize and assess the rendering of orthopaedic services.
• Plan, organize and assess the diagnostic radiographic services within all health institutions.
