About the region
Hardap
region is situated in the southern part of the country bordering Karas
region in the south, Khomas, Omaheke and Erongo in the north. The
catchment area is 109 651 110 382 sq.km. The total population is 68,659
(census 2001 with a yearly national growth rate of 0.3 %)

Disabled people: 2128 (3.09%)
The hottest months in the southern part of the country are January and February with average daytime temperatures between 9 ºC and 30 ºC. During winter, the temperature is between – 6 ºC and 10 ºC at night and during daytime 20 ºC. Overall Namibia is a summer rainfall area, with limited showers occurring from October and building up to peak in January and February. (NDHS, 2000)

Deals with:
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (MIS)
The division is responsible for managing of information for
evidence-based planning, monitoring and evaluation. This is done
through the development of a sound MIS that could provide information
on financial, epidemiological, pharmaceutical, capital development and
maintenance of facilities, human resource development, research and
surveys, etc. The division is therefore responsible for the development
of a minimum set of indicators for all the MIS subsystems. This tool is
then utilized for monitoring the implementation of programs and
services in the directorate.
DISTRICT HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES X 3: MARIENTAL, REHOBOTH AND ARANOS
The
divisions are responsible for the co-ordination, management and
implementation of activities at the district level, which includes all
the activities run by clinics, health centers and hospitals

hospital in Rehoboth district, three Health Centers and eleven clinics.
