Objective:

The directorate is tasks with providing financial administrative, accounting and support services. There are two divisions: Finance; Logistics. The functions are:

• Manage the creditors and revenue functions
• Administer payment of salaries and allowances
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets
• Carry out medium to long term financial planning in cooperation with other directorates and departments
• Administer financial legislation/Treasury Instructions
• Administer medical aid schemes
• Render internal audit services
• Provide auxiliary services
• Provide administrative training and co-ordination of administrative services in the regions
• Provide logistical services
